I hadn't heard either of those terms since I was a kid. The only way I remembered was that if your knees bumped, your feet must be pointed in, and pictures of birds usually have the feet pointing out.

I've never heard of slue-footed, but I looked it up and you're right about all three terms. The pics of knock-kneed look really weird with the knees touching and toes pointing out.

A lot of folks have posted published doctors' opinions that he's had a stroke, and I didn't think so, but if this is foot drop (and it sure looks like it to me--and I worked years in a rehab hospital) I believe he may have had a series of small strokes, and that's the reason for his sudden mysterious trip to the hospital back in Nov.
