I turned my back

We no longer wear masks when we walk outside. Too hot and no one is on the trails. But earlier a woman was walking toward me chatting on her ear growth attachment. And we know that talking throw more droplets into the air. So as she approached me, I stopped, turned my back to her until she passed. I doubt that she even noticed.

1. I deal with this every morning on the trail near my home.

People without masks, on their phones or earbuds, paying no attention to their surroundings, or macho man joggers who just don’t care. If I go the opposite way, into a neighborhood, everyone pays attention to distancing.

2. I do that too. Went to hiking trail, narrow and none of us wearing mask. Turned my back a lot.

I do that with everyone that walks by without a mask. I do not do it so they will notice, I do not care if they notice. I do it so project droplets do not get my face.

Because the trail was so busy, I have not been back.
