Home Depot change their masks policy requiring it now

I don't know if this had anything to do with me calling the Department of Health. The day I went to Home Depot last week people were not wearing masks about half of them. I told the manager that the state requires it now and he said he didn't have he couldn't enforce it. I then called the Department of Health who said he would take care of it apparently he did. The only thing is some employees don't know how to wear a mask to either wear it over their neck or over their mouth but not over their mouth and nose.

Leaving it on the seat of the car, as if it's going to do any good just sitting there. I guess some people think just the presence of mask anywhere near them is magically going to work.

Probably the only reason - but here you simply are not allowed to go into any store anywhere in the state without a mask.

I haven't seen a single instance where anyone didn't comply - the only thing that comes close that I've seen is that a couple of people have angrily ripped off their mask two feet from the exit upon leaving, but that's it.

Because, yes, this nation actually has dumbasses who don't get it.

And Lowe's was doing the same thing so if Lowe's has now required masks I will go to Lowe's but they were doing the same thing as Home Depot last week. I had no choice today but to go there for parts I needed

It's an uphill battle to get them to Lowes. Usually they have contractors accounts set up at home depot.

And here in Delaware, near me at least, they were much more strict about COVID precautions. They'd limit the number of people in the store, so there'd be a long socially-distanced line out front. Hand sanitizer inside, masks a given.

Lowes never limited the number of people going in, as far as I could tell. I could just walk right in. Most people wear masks in Delaware, as required and as common sense would indicate.

All that being said: I will try to go to Lowes more often even though I usually have better luck at HD. I will give them an extended chance.

Walmart, Kroegen, Target, CVS, Best Buy and I believe a few others have announced corporate wide mask policies

It would seem that some of these "run government like a business" types would realize this.

Trump's response to the pandemic is the greatest gift he could have given to Jeff Bezos.

The people wearing chin-masks... or mouth-masks (with their virus-emitting noses showing) are the ones that really perturb me. From a distance, it looks like they're wearing their mask, so I'm a little less guarded as they approach me (or when I approach them).

Then I'll spot their virus-nozzle sticking out and I back away or turn to make an escape (hoping to avoid back-tracking where they've previously been).
