Chris Matthews to John Sununu: Obama is your President too

Sununu said that Romney wants to fix what your President broke and Tweety came back with he's your President too. I liked that.

All too often these Repubs don't think of it in those terms.

When they brought up Huntsman working within the Obama administration and how that is the wrong thing to do. The republican party (and I know I'm stating the obvious, but...) no longer represents people but is all about doing for the republican party. It is now anathema that republicans work with democrats. If a republican in any way works with a democrat, they are turncoats, traitors to the party. They don't even see how wrong that is and I think they are missing the point that the majority of American's aren't in favor of that way of thinking.

was more important than their constituents. It is clear the republican party has made that decision. Romney is piling on Huntsman for serving within the Obama administration, totally leaving out the fact that any politician works under the current President during their tenure.

when they declare publicly that their major goal is preventing the president from serving a second term you can be sure that they do not have the country's best interests in mind.

I'm not claiming Bush. I'm not claiming Reagan, either. They certainly didn't feel like my president. If I was talking to Hannity (in a nightmare), I would have said "Your President". Because, I see them as "his" guys. Not mine. I also have to wonder how they feel about us. I don't care what they say. I don't think presidents feel all warm and cozy about all of their citizens, either. You could certainly tell from Bush. Something tells me, President Obama doesn't look across a crowd of Tea Party protesters and think..."I just love this little group." What can I do to help them today? LOL. I think it's just that he knows his policies help them, in spite of them.

There seem to be only a few that do, and they seem to be marginalized -- like Maddow,

I wasn't a Bush admin supporter (obviously) but I'm one of those folks who try to think about how politics SHOULD be. For example, many Dems here rail against centrist Dems. I have no problem with centrist Dems IF they are actually representing their constituency. Like Wasserman-Schultz, for example. I think in her district she has to be a centrist and I think it's as it should be. Not all Dems can be the way I want them to and I'd hope that they represent all of their constituents fairly; I know that's a naive outlook but it is how it should be, IMO.

to be more liberal or progressive and resort to accusations against other Democratic leaders that they haven't made it so or vote hacking types of stuff (while there is some of that, there could also be genuine disagreement).
