Protesters break Seattle East Precinct windows; 12 SPD officers injured.A large group of demonstrators marched into Capitol Hill from downtown Seattle on Sunday, as part of a protest against ICE.
Seattle police made two arrests, and report at least one officer has been transported to the hospital after police say protesters threw bottles and rocks downtown near the West Precinct.
In total, SPD reports 12 officers were injured.
Police say protesters broke several windows of businesses on their way to Capitol Hill, before doing the same to the East Precinct building. A device thrown into the window ignited a small fire inside the precinct lobby.

(51,122 posts)I find it suspicious that 12 officers were "injured". I'm gonna call bullshit unless there were substantially more than 12 protesters hurt. We've seen how they react with ZERO provocation. Now we're supposed to believe the cops are getting "injured" and they're not responding with violence?

(86,650 posts)Besides being assholes, the cops in AZ always try to tack on an assault charge because then they gain victim status and under the AZ Victim's Bill of Rights, they can refuse to be interviewed by defense counsel.
