Trump's interview and Kanye's campaign rally are a reminder that the core of narcissism is

A deep and profound sense of inferiority, which a person fights against 24/7 by imagining a grandiose self and substituting that imaginary self for the real self.

It takes a lot of energy to maintain that, and so a narcissist is incredibly vulnerable at all times. If anyone does not fully accept the idealized imaginary self that one is presenting, one falls apart.

A certain degree of narcissism is healthy, but pathological narcissism throws people into a hell of their own construction.

Lots of artists have those issues.

Trump is more of a demented narcissist. He has always been a narcissist. Now he is demented on top of it. Yay us.

but we're out of it and fully functioning...we've had it with the imbecilic trump optics, his vicious playground taunts, the utter incompetence and apathy of the Republican Party...we're done being nice...the impeachment hearings were nice..but when BLM took to the streets in protest we as a country stopped being "nice"...about damn time!..Chris Wallace did us a public service...the stupidity, depravity, incompetency and sociopathy of Trump was on full display...as for Kanye, he and his wife have been in the klieg lights so long their brains are fried...
