The time John Lewis cosplayed at ComicCon

This is so great. In 2015, John Lewis, to promote his amazing graphic novel "March" went to the San Diego Comic Con.
For those who don't know, cosplay is costume play, people at conventions dressing as their favorite characters.
So Lewis goes as...himself. Wearing the same outfit he did when marching in Selma, How cool is that?

And BTW, his book is the first graphic novel to win a National Book Award.

What an amazing man.

Also, adorable. Sorry, gotta say it...that guy was cuter than a basket full of puppies. Look at him gripping those youngster’s hands.

Love it!
