https://deadline.com/2020/07/joe-biden-barbra-streisand-rob-reiner-john-legend-fundraiser-1202989450/

Julianne Moore, Barbra Streisand, Rob Reiner, and John Legend are among the lineup of entertainment figures who will appear at a Joe Biden fundraiser next Sunday to mark 100 days until the 2020 presidential election.

The virtual event, called Celebration for Change, will be hosted by Jay Leno.

Tickets start at $15 per person and rise to $1,000 per person at the “champion” level, according to the invite. The money will go to the Biden Victory Fund, the joint committee of the Biden campaign and the Democratic National Committee.

Also scheduled to appear at the event are a mix of showbiz figures, politicians and activists, including Sara Bareilles, Dustin Lance Black, Karamo, Tituss Burgess, Pete Buttigieg, Kristin Chenoweth, Andy Cohen, Andra Day, Raul Esparza, Renee Elise Goldsberry, Ellen Green, Dolores Huerta, Billie Jean King, Jane Krakowski, Michael McElroy & the Broadway Chorus, Rosie Perez, Rep. Cedric Richmond (D-LA), The War & Treaty and Rory Wheeler.

Just have everybody on that doesn’t like Trump stealing their music for a closing jam session.

The orange dumbass can have Nugent. He can't even get a ticket to the HOF.

Christ, even the Country artists are turning on him.

Either way, he has nobody relevant. We'll always have Jackson Browne, Bruce, Fogerty, and Neil. That's one molecule of a very talented iceberg of lefty musicians.

were saying "this one" is a Repub and "that one" is a Repub--all trying to get a rise out of us.

Some of them, like Jackie Robinson, may have been--due to the damn Dixiecrats at that time.

If Jay Leno has ever been perceived as a Repub, it could be from his monologues during the Tonight Show. Today's late night hosts don't even try to hide their ideology anymore. (I'm still not happy with Fallon having the orange d-bag on his show.)

The strongest one (as spicy as margarine) was an insult to Trump without saying his name.

Each segment seemed to lean left, as does AARP needs to in order to protect SS, Medicare and Medicaid from the party who cheers for Potterville, the Grinch, and Scrooge at Christmastime. Leno could have altered his jokes to meet AARP's agenda, but I doubt it.

Hosting the 2014 Genesis Prize award ceremony in Jerusalem, Leno made jokes mocking then-President Barack Obama and then-Secretary of State John Kerry, accusing Obama of "trying to break" the U.S.'s relationship with Israel.[99]

In a 2015 interview with The Jerusalem Post, Leno said, "I always considered Israel as not only the only democracy in the Middle East, I think it’s the purest, because every Israeli voter seems to have his own political party."[100] He also added about Israel's relations with other Middle East countries: "Israel is so efficient in defending itself and so good at it, that to the rest of the world it looks like bullying."[100]
