NASCAR Fans Booed...Bubba Wallace and Cheered After He Crashed on Racetrack

https://www.blackenterprise.com/nascar-fans-booed-black-driver-bubba-wallace-and-cheered-after-he-crashed-on-racetrack/

Black Nascar driver Darrell “Bubba” Wallace is receiving backlash after speaking out against the display of the Confederate flag at NASCAR events, which helped lead to the elimination of Confederate flags at its events.

During last week’s qualifier in Tennessee at Bristol Motor Speedway for NASCAR’s Cup Series All-Star Race, NASCAR fans booed Wallace at the introduction of his name and later cheered when he crashed on the racetrack, according to AP Sports Jenna Fryer.

I like NASCAR better when there were no fans in the stands.

I like drag races better. Just don’t get the attraction to NASCAR.

The operative word being "had." After talking with him about NASCAR for a little while, it became obvious to me why shiny things going around in circles could be so fascinating for him.

What's sad is that they aren't trying for the right reason.

Not exactly a hotspot of progressive politics.

A few weeks back in a neighboring town the rumor went around that BLM was going to have a protest march, and the RWNJs came out in force to counterprotest. Turns out the "protestors" were Sierra Club grannies.

And arrests were made. Check out those mugshots!

Nine arrested at Rogersville BLM protest for disorderly conduct appear in court

ROGERSVILLE — Eight of the nine people arrested during Saturday’s Black Lives Matter protest in Rogersville were identified by police as members of a non-local white supremacist group who allegedly attempted to agitate other peaceful protesters by yelling profanity and racial slurs.

The group allegedly became involved in a scuffle after being confronted by other counter- protesters about their foul language and racial slurs.

After spending two nights in the Hawkins County Jail, all eight were arraigned Monday in Sessions Court on one count of disorderly conduct. They were released Monday on $1,000 bond, and an Oct. 5 trial date was set for each of them.

Those eight defendants are Craig Briggs Spaulding, 33, of Knoxville; Caleb Dane Rose, 21, of Knoxville; Adam Lawrence Rice, 24, of Maryville; Cory Smith, 25, of Knoxville; Stephen Parker Smith, 27, of Louisville, Tenn.; Garon Joseph Archer, 25, of Johnson City; Sean Camron Kauffmann, 26, of Vail, Ariz.; and Joshua Blakeney, 20, of Morristown.

That's a scary looking bunch. All from quite a ways away from Bristol. Knoxville is the nearest big city but it's st least an hour away.
