I’ll bet this gets zero traction, but I’m going to say it anyway: Teachers are not responsible for the recovery of the economy, child care, or getting us back to “normal.” Stop trying to guilt us into risking our lives for the government’s failure to support those who need it.

'essential' ... they too, don't deserve to risk their lives so someone can come in and buy their absolutely essential flooring project or art supplies etc. That is, don't expect others to risk their lives so one can still shop 'as usual' when things aren't 'as usual'.
