Woman sues Ramsey Solutions (Dave Ramsey's company) over pregnancy firing

https://www.tennessean.com/story/news/local/williamson/2020/07/21/ramsey-solutions-lawsuit-caitlin-oconnor-franklin-tn/5482489002/

"....Williamson County resident Caitlin O'Connor alleged in the new suit that she was discriminated against and denied her rights pursuant to the Family Medical Leave Act, Tennessee Maternity Leave Act and the Tennessee Human Rights Act.

O'Connor's attorney Heather Collins wrote in the suit the incident began when O’Connor requested FMLA paperwork for the birth of her child and requested ADA paperwork since her pregnancy is considered a geriatric pregnancy. After that, Ramsey Solutions' board requested a meeting where they allegedly told Collins she would no longer work for the company.

"Ms. O’Connor finally had a meeting with the head of Human Resources and the board members and was informed she was being terminated due to her pregnancy and for a violation of 'company conduct,' because she is not married to her partner, the baby’s father," Collins wrote in the suit. "Ramsey contends that her committed relationship and her pregnancy are a violation of its 'righteous living' policy."

In the suit, Collins wrote in the suit her client would like a jury trial, damages — including lost wages, benefits and compensatory damages — attorneys’ fees, costs, interest, reinstatement, front pay and benefits, cost of replacement medical coverage or reimbursement for medical expenses,"...(more)

It would seem it would be a very hostile toxic environment if she were to return.

To testify under oath that they didn't have sex outside of wedlock. And all other current employees for that matter. Should be a fun court that day!

Failed at Real Estate and then made a living selling books that contain about enough real information as could be contained in 2 pages. Sure, that two pages worth of stuff is good; Make a budget, pay down debt starting with smallest debts, use envelopes to portion your money, save money, pay cash for cheap cars etc etc. About 10 solid common sense ideas in total that he's made millions off by selling.

He lets his religion infect everything and he's a sexist.
