I think it's time to protest somewhere else. It's a big city.

Leave the Feds to stand around and pick their asses.

At this point, they're giving Trump EXACTLY what he wants.

Which is footage of people attacking the Federal officers, and general violent-looking images.

Even though they absolutely should NOT be there in the first place, I don't think that's the more important matter here.

It wouldn't matter if they're there ... if everyone else is simply ... elsewhere. Continue fighting to be rid of them through the proper channels, by all means. But otherwise ... ignore them.

put up yellow tape all around that pull back perimeter. That gives them room to stew over their building protection and no reason to venture further.

they could go ahead and bomb a federal building, and kill 168 people and never be called a terrorist by our government. NOT ONCE. Bombs churches and kill little girls. The KKK never got labeled terrorists by our government either. Bomb the Olympics. Bomb gay bars. Never get called terrorists by our government. Shoot up malls, schools, workplaces, anywhere, never get called terrorists by our government either.

But dare be against racism and against fascism and get tear gassed, beaten, shot by not so nonlethal bullets, ran over by cops and then called terrorists by our government. Always remember that. Never forget that.

I never will. I'm sick of groups like the KKK/neo-Nazis/unhinged Republicans committing violent acts meant to kill as many innocent people as they possibly can, bragging about it and being proud of themselves for it, then getting protection and cover for it all due to "free speech," while our side simply wants the cops to quit hating American citizens and quit attacking and murdering American citizens.

We are not even allowed to peacefully assemble and march without cops escalating right away and attacking us violently. Always remember that. The fucking KKK can do whatever they want to us, but we cannot even peacefully march without being violently assaulted and attacked by our own government. This IS fascism.

But right now?

We need to be the smarter bunch. Pick our battles.

The Nation hangs in the balance in November, literally.

There is no real downside to just leaving the Federal Goons alone at the courthouse to pick their asses and stick out like a sore thumb.

Attacking them in any way gives Trump exactly what he wants.
