The Point

He made a point of demonstrating that he could drink a glass of water with one hand – because there have been many instances where he very obviously couldn’t.

He made a point of offering excuses as to why he couldn’t easily navigate a ramp – because we all saw that he obviously couldn’t.

Now he’s making a point of how he passed a simple cognitive test, which leads to the obvious conclusion – he didn’t, because he couldn’t.

1. Just saw that clip. It is mind-blowing that it's come to this.

He is not of sound judgment even in determining what helps him and what hurts him on even the most elementary level of how he presents himself in friendly interviews.

He keeps calling attention to his severe deficits and is completely unaware he is doing so, or that it is a bad idea.

I guess I should be happy he is this oblivious, yet it is most unsettling.

Maybe he passed it? Wouldn't matter. It's problematic that it was even administered. People aren't given tests like that unless there's good reason to believe that they are having serious neurocognitive problems. Like maybe they had a stroke, or seemed disorganized/disoriented, or had a press conference, something horrifying like that.

He is running for office in Texas. Was he sober when he administered this test, I wonder? He is such a fan of tRump that he would lie for him, say he passed the test even if he did not.

Ronny got out before Kelly sent him to Diego Garcia where he'd be emptying bed pans. One phone call to the Five Sided Circus is all it takes.

Of course, he lied. During his 'briefing', he was as nervous as a cat in the middle of a pit bull fight. He kept glancing off stage. No doubt Kelly was in the wings giving him the Hairy Eyeball of Death stare. "Don't fuck up, Rear. Just polish the turd."

He probably took some of his Feelin' Groovy pills.

Dementia, fake or real, is one such path.

No way I'd refuse it.
