We did great things, but it doesn’t matter to the Dems!

No matter what @realDonaldTrump did, what he closed down, how many masks he wore, @TheDemocrats were going to use his response to the #coronavirus as a political weapon in 2020.

That “how many masks he wore” (two, by my count — or rather one, twice) cracks me up.

The President's first and most important duty, according to Republicans, is to protect the American people. Now, the real first duty of the President is to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution. The President even swears to do that when he's inaugurated. But the Republicans have used the protection of the American people as the reason for all sorts of unconstitutional gambits, some successful, others not.

So now that President Trump has utterly failed to protect the American people from the coronavirus, Republicans are whining about how unfair it is that the president is held to the standard they themselves have promulgated. Toughski shitski, Buck.

that Trump's response to the pandemic (that has resulted in 140,000+ deaths in the United States) is not a fair metric for which Trump should be judged?

And in that vein, isn't this person also admitting that Trump's response was inadequate?
