Pennsylvania now has non-binary gender option for driver licenses, ID cards

Pennsylvania has rolled out a non-binary gender option for its state-issued driver's licenses and photo identification cards.

Gender designation options on licenses and ID cards are now "M" for male, "F" for female or "X" for non-binary, PennDOT said Thursday.

Anyone who wants to change the gender designation on their license or ID can fill out Form DL-32 and bring it to a PennDOT driver license center.
