the virus "goes away quickly" according to trump

I think Birx feeds him these untruths and these maps that look like there's hardly any virus in most of the states. He thinks it's truth.

Trump continues to offer a dishonestly rosy picture of the pandemic situation, saying the virus "goes away quickly" in hotspots (no), "most of the country" has "no problem whatsoever" (no), the country is in great shape unless you look south or west (...).
Trump on Jacksonville: "When we chose it it was not at all hot, it was free. And all of a sudden it happened quickly. It happens quickly. And it goes away and it goes away quickly." Really does not, not without a major effort.

Texas, Florida, Arizona, and California are home to 97 million people, and these are some of the hardest hit states right now. There are others as well.
