Celebrating the 30th Anniversary of one of the most important civil rights laws in

our lifetime being signed: The ADA Americans with Disabilities Act July 26 1990 on the south lawn of the White House. The largest, and certainly the most diverse crowd in the history of Presidential bill signings.

And, perhaps as a fading relic of the days when Congress had agreement on something, remember that this was signed under a Republican President with bi-partisan support. (Although there were of course many Rs who grumbled about it)
The law has had significant changes over time, and attempts to take the teeth out of it, but it is worth celebrating that milestone none the less.
