Donald Trump has said he has “no responsibility” for the coronavirus pandemic, fobbing it off on governors and mayors whose repeated requests for federal help he’s denied. Yet he’s now sending federal troops into cities he says are controlled by the “radical left”, whose mayors and governors don’t want them there.

The president wants to shift public attention from the virus, which he can’t “dominate”, to the streets of America, which he and his secret police can.

It’s an especially cynical re-election strategy because coronavirus deaths are rising again. More Americans are on track to be hospitalized with the virus than at any other point. Rates of new infections repeatedly shatter single-day records. As a result, the US economy is backsliding.

Trump has never offered a national strategy for testing, contact tracing and isolating those who have the disease. He has provided no standards for reopening the economy, no plan for national purchasing of critical materials, no definitive policy for helping the unemployed, no clear message about what people and businesses should do. He rushed to reopen without adequate safeguards.

he's dependent on an absence of real, important news so that he is free to get the media to tell whatever nonsense story he wants.

when there's nothing important going on, people are willing to be entertained by his lunatic ravings.

but when there's a global pandemic, people are dying, the economy is a disaster, etc., well, people want the real news.

Cohen in prison earlier than he should have been, the judge saying that Cohen's imprisonment was solely done for revenge/etc. and that Cohen should be immediately released. The primary point I'm making is that all of rump sole's considerations is staying in office as long as he can to avoid being criminally charged by the state of NY and / or others, and revenge. Not once when things are done by this administration is it for Country or the American people. The biggest thing I can recall being passed was the obscene tax cut of 2017 where the republicans awarded their donors, despite being no rationale for such a tax cut. Thus harming the Country by inflicting massive tax cuts, leading to massive deficits.

Things done in the past to ensure that such gross abuse of the Executive Branch wouldn't happen, but they have and probably still are.
Laws against Emolument are being ignored. Laws against a 3rd term, etc. are being ignored. Rulings made for DACA are still being ignored, the pathetic wall between Mexico and the US is still being build despite not being specifically funded by Congress and reaffirmed as such (not funded, thus not allowed) in a ruling by the Court.

Candidates are supposed to be vetted, the republican party failed grossly in their duty to the Country (but not to their Party of course, to them, it's always Party over Country, a gross abuse of the American spirit). I'm surprised that a small group of senators hasn't bolted over to the Democratic Party, all it takes is a minimum of 3 GOP senators and then both chambers of Congress are on one side vs. the out of control PINO and his abuses.

Thank god November 2020 is coming rapidly. GOTV and make sure your friends and neighbors vote too. This is a very important vote and one that will preserve the very fabric of society that we all know and loved, prior to the idiot PINO getting into office and revealing to all his true and gross incompetence and the failure of the republican led Senate to impeach the PINO scumbag. Every one of these republican senators is obviously in someone's pocket, thus I seriously wonder about their ability to lead this Country and further the goals of Americans instead of their one clients, the donors of the republican party.
