they never have to explain their "reasoning" to anyone. just the bullshit big lie.

because it's not reasoning. reason would mean that they'd admit wages are too low.

Those are $1 bills, not $100 bills...so deduce for yourself what kind of bills that stripper turned trophy wife was accustomed to counting each night.

Her family owns a castle near Edinburgh.

She's a photo-fit trophy wife, but Mnuchkin would have cast an eye over her old word connections.

I mean if we just straight up said:

"Everyone who stays in their house for the next four weeks gets $1,000 a week, period. BUT if we catch you out of your house, and you're not doing one of these (very very few) specific activities, then not only do you NOT get your $4,000, but also you catch a $4,000 fine."

COVID would drop like a rock--by the time it was "come out day" people who had COVID at the start of the 4 weeks would have been through it, and during that 4 weeks, transmission would be as close to nil as possible. At that point we could do as close to a full re-open as is humanly possible.-

AND, I bet in the long run, the cost would be lower than the prolonged agony we're doing now. It'd be like a band-aid; it hurts a little bit more for a MUCH shorter period of time to just rip it off vs. slowly slowly slowly peeling it off.

American workers lazy, despite increasing worker productivity by massive amounts over recent years, and guess who got the majority of the benefits? Certainly not the workers.

There's a reason why the %s of people in the middle class has shrunk in size and the number of billionaires and millionaires has increased in numbers ... a big portion of the benefits has accrued to these two wealthy classes while worker pay is still stuck at rates set in the 1970s.

Don't vote like you're a member of the millionaire or billionaire class, you're not. So many run of the mill republicans are are blindsided by politics smoothing over these vast and stark differences in income and wealth (politics is gas lighting other non relevant issues so republican voters can't see what's really happening).

Actually, both of 'em in that picture are bastards. And worse.

Why don't YOU two try to get by with nothing and no hope and no support, while some spoiled pampered fat cats try to nickel and dime you because they don't want to help you.

Republicans. They Don't Want To Help You.

Pass it on, please! Let's spread this meme!

They DON'T want to help you. And they don't think they should have too.

But they WILL loudly profess that they're patriotic - moreso than you ever could be. They WILL loudly profess they're "pro-life", too. While Americans lose their jobs, their homes, get sick, suffer, and die. Last I checked, more than 148-THOUSAND American deaths, as of this writing.

A long time friend of mine just lost both of his parents to COVID because he had to go work and feed his children. He caught the covid and his parents got it from him. Every time these rich useless idiots implies that people are lazy they should be called out on it. Trump is the poster boy for why we should have a heavy inheritance tax in this country.

If Donald Trump knew how to lead and how to handle something like a pandemic, we'd never be in this mess.

It's time for the GOP to pay for its mistakes.
