Trump: "No, I won't be going. No."--responding to question Will you pay your respects to John Lewis?

Trump is beyond a national disgrace!

But as one re-sponder said--No one wants him there anyway!

"Do you plan on paying your respects to Congressman Lewis either today or tomorrow at the Capitol?"

Trump: "No, I won't be going. No."

Gotta love this new tone.

He is persona non grata, and he finally realizes it:

Disinvited to Bush I's funeral
John McCain's funeral
Yankee home opener.

He doesn't want to be booed.
Somewhere dimly within that lizard brain of his, he senses that the reception would be negative and negative enough that even he would feel the waves of antagonism.

But Trump was also told not to congratulate Vladimir when he was doing one of his phone calls, and that didn't work out too good. Trump's not big on doing what he's told to do, or even what's suggested he should do.

Without mentioning his name, they will rip Trump a new one in the most eloquent manner possible.

A national American hero doesn't deserve to have his final legacy disgraced by one of the greatest traitors this country has ever seen.

God forbid if President Carter passes during Trump's tenure, I can only hope Trump would likewise stay away.

I can only imagine the outrage his family would feel if he dared show up. He is a despicable man/child. He is a racist who has no place at a memorial for a man such as John Lewis.

I hope tRump is eventually disgraced to the point he is given none of the ceremonial events a former president would receive after his death. He only wishes he would get to be honored the way Mr. Lewis was honored. May he never be given the kind of loving, moving farewell that Congressman Lewis received this afternoon.

Perhaps the reporters should write out their questions on their pads -- or do they fail to anticipate the need for one -- tear out the sheet and hand it to Trump. Force him to read something and see what the result is.

John King mentioned how unusual it is that a president was asked not to issue any statements or tweets about a representative's death.

I am so glad it is staying away. I wish it would never say anything about black folk.
