a buzzer. Trump would totally ignore the rules if it was just him and a camera in a remote location in the WH.

Besides, he could easy cheat. He could have an earpiece, somebody giving him tips, Kellyanne and Miller writing phrases on a chalkboard behind the camera, etc...

Realtime fact checking. It's a formal debate not a barroom argument.
Don't make Biden have to spend his time pointing out the lies PINO just told.
Fact check, correct the errors/lies, then Biden can answer the question without wasting time refuting BS.
