Good he keeps out of the picture so as not to take away from the highest honor due Rep. Lewis, a true patriot & champion of human rights & equality.

Much better without him blighting the whole thing. He would not be able to sit still. He'd be fidgeting like an unruly first-grader, knowing none of this was about him. And he'd be taking umbrage that he didn't hear his name come up during the various sets of remarks, and probably thinking about who he'd retaliate against and in what way. Spiteful little pissant. AND probably figuring up the ways he'd make sure his own eventual memorial would top it, bigger and showier and with lots more pizazz and gold-tone paint.

Nobody missed him. FAR better and more solemn and elegant NOT having him attend. I forget who the commentator was - who speculated that John Lewis would not have wanted him there, either. It was referred to as a party to which he was not invited. Glad he WASN'T there! He certainly didn't belong.

This is how a First Couple should act. So much class. You'll never see Dr. Jill Biden wearing a jacket that says, "I Really Don't Care. Do U?"

I can't wait until they are in the White House. I truly mean that.

By the way, how many funerals now that the two Dumps have been asked not to attend? I've lost count.
