I've support Warren for president before Warren supported Warren for president. My DU profile written in 2015 announced my preference, and it hasn't changed. But I think she belongs in Congress, or as Biden's key person on the economy (Sec Treas?).

Val Demings is the best choice. She's been in Congress long enough to get a feel for the place but not so long that she looks like a lifer, she served in administrative capacities in local government, and she's rock solid on many issues--I'm sure I'll disagree on a couple issues with anyone who gets nominated, but I'm no purist. Oh, and she's from the almost purple regions of the South. She puts Florida and Georgia in play.

Also, she's sharp as a tack and good on the mic (which is probably her number one selling point over Duckworth, who would also be a good choice).

I like her positive personality and she seems brilliant, next Stacy for me. Not holding my breath though. Originally I wanted Kamala but I don't think she can connect with people like Val or Stacy would.

Whomever he chooses, be sure the GOP already has a damning dossier ready for unleashing on every possible candidate on his list.

Know the source of the smear campaign you're repeating.
Just an FYI

But you're right, it's next week. I'll be glad for the suspense to over.
