Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsI notice that Romney likes to refer to liberal women such as those on The View as "sharp tongued"
When was the last time anyone used that phrase to describe liberal women?
But, in all fairness, he would know a "sharp tongued" woman if anyone would. Ann's tongue seems to be pretty well honed, especially when talking to "you people".
And not having worked a day in her life to earn her moochiness he has first hand knowledge of those who feel entitled to be taken care of. Which she is by the way (entitled), because unlike the 47% she'll vote for him.
Isn't she a great role model?! Why she leaves Michelle Obama in the dust when it comes to being a role model for young girls to aspire to!
The lesson here young girls, is to marry up in order to be someone important.

(8,933 posts)as for ann romney.... the spouse of the candidate is supposed to be their more popular ally... the one they send out when they need a boost. whenever michelle obama goes out in front, she seems to give the president a boost.... he married such a smart lovely woman.... he must be smart! but ann seems to not help. Not sure what it is, but she just rubs me the wrong way.

(53,410 posts)Who is more apt at putting women where they belong than the Mormons? No wonder there's such an uncharacteristic silence from the fundamental Christians. That explains it.

(53,410 posts)She doesn't strike me as playing second fiddle to her husband. She's the one who comes out to give tongue lashings to "you people" when he's in trouble. Is that the actions of a good Mormon wife? Be meek and a second hand citizen unless your husband needs you to go kick ass to save him?

(665 posts)I would imagine that her "kicking assness" is expected of her, since her husband is such a pantywaist.
And women are only "sharp-tongued" to the GOP when they are on the Democratic side of the aisle. Ann Coulter, Michelle Malkin, and Phyllis Schlafley are not exactly shrinking violets themselves.

(1 post)Ann Romney has rubbed me the wrong way since she said in an early interview that "it's Mitts turn to be President". I didn't know we gave our Presidents turns. That just showed me how arrogant and stupid she is!

I saw that interview and I recall it as her saying, "It's our turn".
Maybe I'm wrong, but I remember it striking me as very presumptive on her part, although she could have been speaking for the GOP and not just about herself.
