Dems 53, GOP 46, ties 1
New polling shows Chris Murphy pulling ahead of McMahon, which may explain McMahon's distancing herself from Romney two days ago.
Tim Kaine now leads Macaca Allen in VA by 5 points. On edit: Macaca Allen distanced himself from Kaine on the eve of this latest poll, so he wins the contest I posted in another thread: Which GOP candidate will bust ranks next?
Baldwin now leads Thompson in WI.
Tester leads Rehberg in MT.
Donnelley leads Mourdock in IN.
Carmona is still neck 'n neck with Flake in AZ. (show him some $love$)
No polling on Berkley and Heller in NV since Aug., but Berkley must be leading because Heller is backing away from Mitt.
Warren leads Brown--everybody knows that already. I personally think she's a shoe-in.
There's been no recent poll for Heitkamp v. Berg in ND, not since July. Dare we hope? $$$$ helps--over at ACTBLUE.com

(10,716 posts)I particularly dislike Tommy Thompson of WI. He will lose to Tammy Baldwin in what is a close race, though Baldwin has pulled ahead. Thompson will probably be the last to break away from Mitt.
Thompson harkens back to WI as a cheesy governor. Michael Moore questioned one of his snarky top aides in "Roger and Me," as Moore escorted a couple of women into the Capitol who needed work and were applying as bathroom cleaners. They got the "brush off."

(2,100 posts)It's so hard to keep track of the nutcase congressmen named Allen. Macaca tells me exactly who is being discussed.

(10,716 posts)This election will be turning a lot of these so called "politicians" OUT for good. Romney has made their party platform perfectly clear, and god, do we thank him.

(10,716 posts)The Dem Convention really kicked it off. Superb and well planned. Then Mitt added a field goal, or two.

(11,461 posts)from the senate electoral map, I notice three states where dems are over performing, states like AZ, NV and
TN, if we can pick up three to four states we should be in an excellent position to have a solid majority.
