I'm not sure we can afford NOT to have one. Nationally.

The screaming would be so loud from deplorables. The crazy maga assholes in Michigan would storm the state capitol with AR-15s. It would be very ugly. America blew its only chance to straighten this out with lowest number of deaths. We are destined to have a million deaths from this virus. What I see every day gives me no hope whatsoever. People gathering with no masks, touching the same serving utensils at catered parties, forcing kids to go back to school. People are in denial. It is going to get way worse before it gets better.

it would be next to impossible to enforce. There's a certain segment of our population that would try to stage an armed insurrection.

They always say we can’t have a permanent lockdown. No one is asking for a permanent one.

100 days you could take the worst spots down to NY numbers while setting up testing and tracing.

so they will not agree to a total lockdown knowing they would not likely be saving themselves, only the oldies they don’t give a damn about.
