9. Umhm, but a lot of it's both. The kind who replaced the old-style

conservatives who were purged from the Republican Party aren't only mercenaries. Most are hard-core cons who know all men aren't created equal (incredibly stupid!), naturally anti-democratic, and some born to be fascists. It's a mistake to imagine none of them believe in what they're doing. Most people do and also need to see themselves as the good and wise ones.

Frankly, I have a lot more respect for the clear-eyed scoundrels you speak of than the prating hypocritical True Believers, but they're very much in the minority and I have a hard time figuring out who they might be.

He asked her if she liked Donald Trump.

When she said that she didn't respect the way he conducted himself in the office. He asked her if she despised Donald Trump.

It was the stupidest line of questions I've ever seen.

Imagine yourself sitting there trying to compose a reply to THAT question.

She did very well and said she didn't despise anyone.

I believe it was Sen. Leahy who said to Kennedy or Cruz..."I realize she's a woman, but..." I think he was trying to infer that Repukes always treat women that way because they hate women (at least the intelligent ones).

She irritated most of the Repukes because she didn't let them get to her, gave straight answers and didn't let them get by with their usual conspiracy-tied questions without correcting them. That drives them crazy.
