No, Trump has not betrayed the values of the Republican party. Forty years the Republican party has deregulated industry, polluters, and Wall St., given trillions of dollars in tax cuts to the very wealthy, exploded the national debt, frozen minimum wage, gutted our social safety net, left working and middle class families behind by failing to ensure that every working American can afford basics like housing, food, and medical care, failing to adequately fund education at all levels, and failing to invest in our future as we watch our 20th century infrastructure crumble and fall further and further behind in 21st century science and technology.
