(670 posts)Space has been an integral part of our military for decades and will only grow in importance in the future. This not something Trump pulled out of his ass - a lot of very smart people, of both parties, have been advocating this for years.

IIRC, they had 75-80 billion in assets 5-10 years ago. Has to be easily over $100 billion by now.
I was on the board of a CU that was around $150 million. I remember NFCU being more than 500 times bigger than us!

Per Wikipedia, there are only 88 active duty personnel. Although there are 16,000 air force personnel assigned for transfer/lend to SF.
They changed their commercials for a $100+ billion dollar business for 88 active duty people?
It would have been cheaper to call all of them on the phone!
