Put in your prediction for Biden's VP choice and the day they will announce.
I'll start: Kamala Harris, this Saturday, August 15.

(7,447 posts)I have a sneaking suspicion she has a few influential opponents on Team Biden.
I don't know who he will pick, but I think it's Wednesday afternoon when they make the announcement.
Harris seems the obvious choice but who knows. I think it's either Harris, Rice or Whitmer.

(34,458 posts)At the same time that he announces his VP pick. One reason would be to generate support from people whose favorite candidate does not get chosen for VP.
My predictions: Whitmer for VP; Harris or Warren for Attorney General, with the other appointed to another post.

(1,184 posts)It's enough to vet the VP candidates. Flubbed confirmations are awful for an administration, and they're going to do it properly, just as it always has.

(7,447 posts)She turned down Obama and it's a job that is not going to lead to the presidency.
Why do people KEEP pushing this idea when it's CLEAR she doesn't want it?
I am beginning to think folks want to sideline her in 2024.

(1,615 posts)I think hell send Opie and Marianne Williamson out to her gravesite with a ouija board for the announcement.

(24,504 posts)If Joe is smart, he will consider her push back at the debates to be exactly what he needs in a VP. Someone that will give him excellent counsel. California is a safe Democratic state and she will probably be spending quality time with the next Attorney General. Pelosi and Schumer will be handling the domestic economy triage and Joe will be focused on making the apology/meaculpa tour with our allies.
Rice for NSA or Sec State.

(976 posts)Duckworth is the safest choice. she has no negatives and the GOP has to be very careful not to say anything about he patriotism and service.
