During the time period when these 150K+ people have died of known or suspected covid, there have been 200K+ "excess deaths" (i.e. more deaths than the same time period last year, or the years before). With how bad the testing has been, how bad our health care system is at access/availability in general, one should assume some portion of those 50K+ unaccounted-for excess deaths are covid.
