why am I not hearing the MSM state this simple fact every time a retag runs that "volume mail can't possibly be handled" bullshite?

..but Im thinking they will do OK. Im still going to walk my ballot to the nearest drop box....just in case. Thats why we all need to vote early ..get those ballots in asap...

Some will use drop offs in their town or vote in person. Of those who use the mail, I would bet the vast majority would be local, which I would guess is easier than across the country. If it weren't I doubt the post offices themselves would have two slots, one of which is local.
