The more I think about it, the more I think I should have given her money.
She was calling for the DSCC. She had the softest, most juvenile voice. I immediately knew she was a teenager. So I talked to her for a little while, told her how proud I was that she was calling, asked how she got involved. Her sister inspired her.
I wish I could call her back. I think I will try.

(17,622 posts)...pledge card. I have had a nice lady call several times and I 'accidentally' hang up on her so I dont have to outright reject them..... but she called last night and hubby said 'dont call here any more'. I was horrified!!! I told him that was bad karma and its hard to cold call..which is why i dont do it. They are volunteers and are trying to save our country. I told him just to not be so dang rude.
I may call that number back as well and, like you, give a little $.

Very saddened.
I wished her the best and told her that I hoped she had a good day.
I give to specific candidates, not the DSCC or DCCC.
