(33,643 posts)He 'respects' the fact that many of them feel they need to work harder (and endure more) to get ahead than men do, a convenient fact that he uses to his personal advantage whenever possible.

(10,749 posts)These kinds of statements might very well say more about the women making them than about trump. These comments really make you wonder what for them constitutes admiration and respect. And, if they do indeed genuinely feel that they have been treated with admiration and respect, what is it about them and their relationship with trump, and with men generally, that differentiates them from the other women named in the tweet, whom trump as abused, disrespected, insulted, demeaned, or raped.
Of course, this assumes that they are not outright lying, which is not necessarily an assumption you can make about anyone who says positive things about trump.
Other thoughts come to mind. Does he only assault a "type" of woman, whatever type means - height, weight, skin tone, education, personality, etc.? At what point in his association with women does he attempt assault or commit rape? For this woman saying positive things about trump, is it possible he tried, but was rebuffed, and was threatened with exposure, and only after payment (money, prestige, promises of some kind) did she agree to say nice things? Kind of like the flip side of assumed Lindsey Graham type of extortion many think is at play.
There are no norms with this vile human being, so you have to look at things like this from angles that wouldn't necessarily apply with other people.
