I'm just guessing here, but could this be because schools were closed down early Arkansas Granny Aug 2020 #1

This climb is too early to be the mandatory school openings. magicarpet Aug 2020 #3

during the pandemic and children were pretty much kept isolated until "re-opening" began? I don't see how anyone can, with clear conscience, say that it's safe to send children back to the classroom.

...show that we had 3.4 million cases a month ago.
So, 1 in 17 cases were kids. About 5.85%.
Now, we have 5.27 million cases. 380,000 kids is 7.2% of cases.
That increase is a relative change of 68.75%, upward.
Seems like a significant increase.

This chart seems to indicate the end of spring - early summer push to reopen by trDumpie and the militia gun goons forcing states to reopen restaurants, bars, churches, and businesses immediately. "The closing is doing more harm than the Coronavirus." We must open AmeriKKKa back up now crowd, with guns to show that their threats are not idle gossip/chat.

At that point the far right crowd figured it was a good time to push back against the snowflake libs, man up, open AmeriKKKa, have fun this summer like the Covid pandemic was resolved and behind us.

After all trDumpie has access to the best medical information on the planet,... he says time to reopen, party down, the pandemic is over. Weeks later Florida, Arizona, Texas, and California rushed to reopen. No mask mandates, no social distancing, no more cautious viral hygiene, they were happy and eager to throw any caution to the wind. Weeks later these states suffered explosive community virus spread and explosive increased death rates.

The same explosive results will soon be realized once they force schools to fully reopen without any extra precautions to mitigate the explosive spread of the virus.

No testing, tracing/tracking, no isolate and quarantine plans for those infected with the Coronavirus. Currently Texas ICU wards are so full and over capacity they are turning people away and sending the worst Covid patients back home to die because the hospitals are overwhelmed. Back home to die, not isolate or quarantine, is a recipe to spread Covid to the family and community.

Just wait until the schools reopen and no plan to mitigate Covid spread in the schools, the infection rate and death rate will quickly explode once again. Watch the charts.
