Venezuela will not recognize World Bank ruling in Exxon case

CARACAS | Sun Jan 8, 2012 2:18pm EST

(Reuters) - Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez said on Sunday that his country would not recognize a ruling by a World Bank tribunal in a multibillion-dollar arbitration case with Exxon Mobil Corp (XOM.N).

"I tell you: we will not recognize any decision," Chavez said during a televised speech.

Isn't he cute? I don't wanna, I don't wanna, I don't wanna. Well, he certainly has a point. How unfair to require him to pay 10% of the value of properties nationalized by him. Shows why the Venezuelan economy is doing so well.
