What "symbolic" event do you look forward to ...

… after President Biden is in power?

My pick: The celebrations that will ensue as the ‘wall’ around the WH is removed.

I imagine it being like the way people reacted when the Berlin Wall was dismantled – celebrating the removal of a symbol of divisiveness.

It will also be a reminder to Trump-humpers that their Fearless Leader needed to protect himself from the citizenry, while President Biden requires no such “protection”.

But actually, a lot of things probably wont happen , at least not as usual until we can get some control over the virus.

But I will just be happy with all the "normal" stuff also like real press breifings .

for granted but was always good to see. The Easter egg hunt. Obama with Halloween. Not that I paid a lot of attention, but I would always see mention and pictures and Obama and Michelle's huge welcoming smile.

It is in the National Museum.

I know the Canadians have one in their museum, for whatever reason.

Fortunately, guillotines are pretty easy to make if you've got a table saw, a router and something that'll cut inch-thick steel.

All you really need is weight; I figure 100 pounds total mass of the blade and carrier will be sufficient to slice through the necks of even the most corpulent members of Trump’s inner circle.

Given that, we might be better off with hanging. That’s how the war criminals of World War II were dealt with.

I'd like to see an official repudiation of almost everything he has done on the House or Senate floor. I'm not wording this well and don't know how it would come about but the condemnation of his administration should be written into the history of the US in burning words.

I want the Chief Justice to lay the Bible on the podium and pick up one of those replica Constitutions the National Archives sells for $12. Then I want President Biden to place his left hand on the Constitution, raise his right, and swear this oath: “I am an American and a President. I am not a king, dictator or tyrant. I will not use executive orders and permanent “acting” officials in an attempt to run the United States of America without any input from Congress. So help me God.”

The primary crowd will surround the White House with baseball bats, 2x4s, axes, chain saws, ropes, pulaskis and whatever other large heavy implements they can find, ready to enter the facility at 12:05 pm if Trump refuses to leave on his own.
