Don't get me wrong, I'm not a Bush presidency fan, but I'm liking the guy a little more everyday. He could completely win me over if he endorsed Biden.

And renounced Cheney too would help.

and the dead Americans and Iraqis can just be forgotten? Or the legacy of the Department of Homeland Security. Or the voting scandal of 2000 that installed Bush ?

Our ability to forget brought us to where we are today, and where ×e will be in the future unless we start remembering.

If we forget those things then what? In ten years will we give Rump a pat on the head and say he was just an adorable confused little old guy?

almost ONE MILLION children, women and men in Iraq? That bush?

Or maybe you mean the one who let people languish on their roofs after Katrina while he ate birthday cake with his repug buddies?

Or maybe you mean the one who ignored warnings about an attack on American soil and sat in a classroom scared shitless while the twin towers and Pentagon were being destroyed?

I wish he was spending the remainder of his life in prison eating raw rats for food. It's better than that bastard deserves. FUCK jr.

It's the idea that "normal" Republicans reject Trump and vote for Biden.

I get that most people here don't forgive or care about this, but we have an election to win.

I think it's a way of welcoming back conservatives that voted for Trump and want to save face when they don't vote for him this time around. It's the approach the Lincoln Project is taking. I've even done some tweets where I claimed I "understood" people voting for Trump the first time around and "welcome" them to change their minds? It just makes more sense to me than repudiating everyone, which just makes them defensive and less likely to change their minds. I know the whole party is broken and corrupt, but I'm just trying to keep my eyes on the prize.

Just my opinion.

We want every single vote we can get, for every office, even if we have to swallow our feelings sometimes. The prize is we get to save lives and our democracy. Your approach is the right one.

We need the votes of any decent person - right, left or center - to remove this monster from office.

Morning Joe is highly effective imo, because moderates and Repubs feel comfortable (remember politics is tribal) with them, and will listen to their Trump criticism where they would not from a liberal or a Dem.
