Wow! It is just so frustrating to talk to supporters of the dangerous fool in the WH.

I have a cousin that lives in Boston, a very blue state, right? Saw a posting of hers this morning about liberals supporting looters and violence in our cities.I pointed out that the unidentified "secret police" were inciting violence too. I then mentioned that the real danger to our country was the threat to democracy that is occurring with voter suppression using the Post Office by this administration. I couldn't believe her response. She said, "you mean the corrupt effort for mail in voting fraud? Anyone can vote by mail with absentee voting so why the need for mail in voting?" OMG! This is the mentality of these people. I just said, THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ABSENTEE AND MAIL IN VOTING! I just had to leave the discussion. Thank goodness her right wing opinion will not matter much in a blue state like Massachusetts. It is concerning though, that there are people that actually think this way!

with an old friend of 40 years.

We made the effort to part as friends. But I won't be getting in touch with her any time soon.

that, she said he's been corrupt all his life. When I pointed out I was talking about Joe Biden, thinking she misunderstood, she again said he was one of the most corrupt men in government.

She is in her 90s, in sound mind, I've known her all my life and couldn't believe what I was hearing. Still can't. I didn't think to ask if she got her news from FAUX Noise, but I'm sure she does.

After the election, I'll have to look into having her de-programmed.

wife and baby girl in an auto accident. Ask yourself how would you have acted. Both of his boys were in the hospital for a long time.

I doubt we will run into each other in the future...at least if I can avoid it.

Social stigma might at least giver her reason to pause. I think so many of these trump-asses feel no immediate repercussions from their ignorant choices.

Do you remember a year or two ago when Dershowitz whined about nobody in Martha’s Vinyard would invite him to parties anymore? It really seemed to bother him (while sexually assaulting /raping teens apparently did not).

If you're still in the conversation, drop the little fact bomb that Portland just held a special election vote-by-mail to fill a vacancy on the city council. More than 170,000 ballots were returned by 8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 11, and a winner was declared by 8 a.m. on Wednesday, August 12. It didn't take months, or weeks, or even days. And this in the middle of a pandemic in a war-ravaged city that's burning to the ground (according to President Trump) with roving gangs of Antifa terrorizing the populace.

I leave it to you to decide how thick to lay it on, but the fact is that vote-by-mail is safe, secure, efficient, and decisive.
