I think all his talks with Putin is what is training him on how to do it and be successful. Why else would he be doing what he doing. Number one:He knows if he does not win he goes to prison.

They claimed their oath was serious. We of course, deride their claim, but military establishments around the world generally have a culture. Our military has a fairly good - but admittedly flawed - history of respecting the rule of law.

Even the meglomaniac Douglas MacArthur stood down when ordered to do so by President Truman.

Obviously Trump and many of his enablers have broken their oaths of office. That is clear.

Obviously members of the American Military residing in the American South violated their oaths by attacking the United States in the Civil War.

This said, my overall impression in American History is that most American soldiers have taken the oath very seriously. My impression is that the American military is not happy with the orange idiot and they are not likely to revolt to support a cult of personality. They are not going to shoot their mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers to support a drooling old man in depends. My impression is that they can't wait to be rid of this son of a bitch, who has treated them with the same contempt he shows for everyone around him.

I am not afraid of military. I am afraid, to a limited extent, of the anarchists is the Republican party, but I don't think that when push comes to shove, the American military is going to spit on centuries of discipline because of a small minded man with the vocabulary of a fifth grader.
