US calls for shower rules to be eased after Trump hair complaints

Under a 1992 law, showerheads in the US are not allowed to produce more than 2.5 gallons (9.5l) of water per minute.

The Trump administration wants this limit to apply to each nozzle, rather than the overall fixture.

Consumer and conservation groups argue that it is wasteful and unnecessary.

The changes were proposed by the Department of Energy on Wednesday following complaints by Mr Trump at the White House last month.

"So showerheads - you take a shower, the water doesn't come out. You want to wash your hands, the water doesn't come out. So what do you do? You just stand there longer or you take a shower longer? Because my hair - I don't know about you, but it has to be perfect. Perfect," he said.

5. His Cult Doesn't Grasp...

...that those lower flow showerheads actually saves THEM money!
There is ample data that on an older head 40% of the water never touches the body.
Because the lower flow nozzles have a tighter pattern & higher velocity, it means the wasted water is lower %, at a lower flow rate!
So, you get just as clean with less water because the wasted water volume plummets. Lower water bills.
This is really quite simple, but beyond their grasp.

8. Not surprised that Trump can't turn something on...

Hey Trump & Cult45...
If the water "doesn't come out" you might want to try turning the handle to the 'on' position or doing some basic maintenance.

We have the newer faucets, bidets & showerheads and even with rather low water pressure here the water comes out just fine. If it doesn't then chances are excellent that the the power is out, the faucet/head is clogged with mineral deposits or our well's pump system is in need of repair (again).
