Might be nothing, but I've had two recent issues involving mail non-delivery.

My sister sent us a card that was returned to her non-delivered. She put proper postage on it and everything. She texted me a picture to make sure the address was correct, and I confirmed that it was. She said she was resending it, and we still haven't gotten it.

Also, when speaking to my parents they said I should be expecting a package from my aunt in the next day or two. That was last week. I still haven't gotten anything.

It's just weird. Never had any problem with USPS before either in sending or receiving.

1. None of this is nothing. This IS what they are doing. Vote in person or drop it off.

Take the necessary precautions, but don't send your ballot through the mail.

2. May not be connected, but also unusual.

I have had two instances in the past month of payments that I have made by mail not being delivered. IN with instances the checks remain uncashed and I have stopped payment, but this is unusual.

that was shipped through USPS. There was absolutely no way to track it. I kept getting a message that tracking was 'unavailable' even though the shipper provided the tracking data.

She eventually had to reimburse me for the item. Then the next day the package arrived magically even though I was never able to track it. This was shortly after we heard that the USPS was removing automatic sorters.

I have older relatives who aren't receiving mailed utility bills on time and are being charged late fees when they send payments via USPS. Disgraceful.

Stuff taking a week + to go 8 miles to the next city, completely missed days, lost items. All happening in the last 1-2 weeks.

Between what's being reported and the anecdotal smoke, there is definitely a fire.

Mail is being delivered (if it's being delivered) to my mailbox much later than usual last couple of weeks. Usually it's here by 12 pm, now I am waiting for mail and it's still not here.

I clearly saw what was coming but it didn’t come. And then suddenly it showed up a few days ago. Very distinctive piece of mail.

I don't have much hope I will ever see it. What's weird is that another piece of mail that was supposed to be delivered that day also, showed up the next day.

It was supposed to arrive Wednesday, then got rescheduled for today, and now scheduled for tomorrow. The birthday present is now going to be late. Grrr.

How many people got mail yesterday?

The number of people convincing themselves (and others) that the post office is going to collapse is scary...

Not surprised, though... that one is quite often wrong.
