Jaws collectively dropped on Twitter over Vice President Mike Pences latest boast about the number of jobs created during Donald Trumps presidency.
Pence on Wednesday told Fox News Sean Hannity that Trump had seen us through the worst pandemic in 100 years and weve already created more jobs in the last three months than Joe Biden and Barack Obama created in their eight years in office.

People on Twitter pointed out problems with Pences brag.
Several accused the vice president of gaslighting and noted an administration does not create the jobs itself.
Other critics highlighted how millions of workers have lost jobs and the economy has shrunk by record levels during the coronavirus pandemic, in part thanks to the Trump administrations disastrous response:

(40 posts)Why do we let them and the media drive the narrative that people going back to work after being shutdown during a pandemic is job creation?
These are not newly created jobs, they are people returning back to work.
