(18,402 posts)At least for where I live.
It lists early in-person voting as Sept. 24-Oct. 19. September 24 is when mail in ballots will start to be sent out. They can be mailed or dropped off till November 3. Early in-person voting begins October 14-November 2. At least that is what my Board of Election states.
I wouldnt bank on this list alone. Go to your state, county, and/or city election websites for detailed, accurate info.

(17,542 posts)There were far more poll workers than voters (one besides ourselves). Everyone was masked up, the poll workers were socially distancing and behind sneeze shields. We wore masks and gloves. They gave us the pens to fill out the ballots and we took them home with us. We put the paper ballots in the scanner and done and done. It was as safe as it could be and far safer than the grocery store we go to.
I told them I would see them again on Oct. 24th. Donald Trump or Covid virus is not going to shit me out of voting!
Colorado mails out ballots and according to the calendar will start mailing them out October 9 for the November election. The Voter Services and Polling Centers will be opened starting October 19 through Election Day. You can go into your closest VSPC and get a ballot if you haven't received one.
The Key item to remember is exactly what you did--go early as soon as you can and vote!!

I am an Election Judge in Denver, CO and see a great deal of misinformation regarding voting. Included in the misinformation is people thinking that drop boxes are the same as mailing your ballot through the US Post Office. In fact, drop boxes are setup in various locations by your local election division office. Election Judges are teamed up in cars and go from location to location to pick up drop box ballots, which are then taken to the election division office to be counted. Putting your ballot in a drop box provides a direct link to be counted and by-passes the USPS.

(644 posts)Please see my response to Chainfire about other options in Colorado. I don't know what state that you live in but you should call and find out what plans they have in place already to help people to vote.
