Museum unveils new Fauci bobbleheads after previous edition sells out

The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame Museum on Thursday unveiled two new Anthony Fauci
figures after previous models depicting the nation's leading infectious disease expert sold out. The two new models include one featuring Fauci in a facepalm pose, a call back to a White House coronavirus task force press conference where he made the gesture.

The museum says it will continue to donate $5 from every Fauci figure sold to the Protect the Heroes Campaign supporting the 100 Million Mask Challenge, adding that the Fauci bobbleheads alone have brought in more than $200,000 for the campaign.

"In April, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum unveiled the first bobblehead of Dr. Fauci, who has served as the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases since 1984," the museum said in a statement.

"That bobblehead, which is individually numbered to 42,020 quickly became the best-selling bobblehead in the Hall of Fame and Museum’s history and it is now sold out," the statement said.
