About the Brown/Warren debate...

I only caught bits of it, but was I the only one that thought he came across as an overbearing douche?

It seemed like in his attempt to be agressive, he crossed the line into being an asshole. (which I'm sure he was already an asshole to begin with)

I have a few thoughts. Brown did better than I would’ve thought. However, he came out on the attack about 3 mins. into the debate on Warren’s Indian heritage claim. I don’t give a crap about that. It’s a non-issue. Another thing he mentioned was when she was an attorney working for Travelers Insurance. It was her job for Travelers to get a claim denied by asbestos workers. She won the litigation for Travelers. I question how long she was with Travelers after that decision was rendered. Was it then that she went into the public domain to work? The difference between what she did and Romney’s actions at Bain is, she was working for Travelers. If she didn’t do her job, then she would’ve been fired. Romney, however, MADE the decisions to destroy businesses, lose jobs. So there’s a difference there. I think she answered the questions better; he could talk around things. I think the bringing up of the abortion issue was a moot point, because they’re both for protecting a woman’s health. It was interesting to have Brown’s voting record in front of me. I wonder why he voted the way he did on numerous bills. I think this is it: Brown will vote on issues however it will affect his personal life. For example, he’s the only male in an all-female household. If he voted against reproductive services, they’d kill him in his sleep. However, if that weren’t the case, he’d be supporting the GOP’s stances. I don’t trust him, and I hope the next two debates are better. This didn’t WOW me. Vote Warren!

How incredibly obnoxious. Everyone knows people who have native American blood who are white and have names like Winslow and Green. And to attack her accomplishments as coming about because of affirmative action. He was a bully!
