2. I'm wondering how badly they've screwed it up.

I completed the census online at least two or three months ago. And I received confirmation for it. So I know it went through.

Yesterday, while I wasn't home, someone from the Census Bureau came to my house. They left a notice, with a code that I am supposed to enter to fill out my census information.

I tossed it in the trash.

I don't even know how they got to where I live. I'm in a gated community and it is not easy to get in here.

How in the world do they not know I've already filled out the census report? I figured if they show up again, I will just pull out my phone and show them the confirmation email.

Right now, I don't think I am going to "praise" anyone who doesn't go the extra mile to make sure they are counted accurately.

6. The Do-List of repairs to the U.S. continues to grow for President Biden.

I fear that Joe will need to appoint a special committee to each and every government agency to weed out the Trump minions and to just identify all the damage. Then and only then can we move on to restore our government to something near normal.

Republicans know that when they gain control and power and damage our government structures and make a mockery of norms and traditions, much of that which is lost will never be restored. So when defeated, they just back up an punt and wait until their next round of destruction. I've been watching it happen since Nixon's days.

In other words, they've learned to be content to destroy the American system of government one brick at a time. Sorry to sound negative, but until we remove Republican's ability to control government budgets and their big money's power to buy elections and control global media, we'll continue to suffer from this slow-growth cancer.
