I woke up this morning to see Romney continuing to tank in the polls and in the prediction markets. There are continued revelations that his campaign has far less money than they claimed. Conservative commentators are abandoning him in droves and mainstream media sources talking about the extremely bleak state of Romney's campaign. Paul Ryan is being booed by the AARP. The democrats look like they are surging in the senate and may even retake the house.
My god, did I even wake up yet? Is this some kind of wonderful dream?

(5,813 posts)There IS no comparison. Things have turned so dramatically in a direction that gives me hope that our nightmare with Romney/Ryan is going to be over soon that I can scarcely believe it. I know the MSM is still pushing the "this is neck and neck" and all of their talking points to keep us glued to the TV and the next release of poll numbers but dang it......One campaign can't have the kind of week Romney/Ryan have had and not show some bruising. Yep, that's gonna leave a mark, as they say.
So I am whistling a happy tune. And just counting the days until early voting starts here in Florida. (Oct. 27th) I have checked online my voter registration and they say I am all set!! And if I'm dreaming, just never wake me up, OK???

(5,154 posts)election by the moneyless pit republicans...that you and I have no clue about.....Never good to be so smug....i've seen things turn on a dime with one made up scandal that sticks....there's still almost seven weeks left until the election and Romney is still polling at 46 to 47% Anything can change things by a few points.
