Single malt can round off a lot of sharp edges, but it does little to alter reality

in any meaningful way.

I no longer care if others consider an occasional foray into whisky nirvana as confirmation of my weakness. It offers respite which I understand is temporary.

Tomorrow will find me sober, emotionally rested and determined to prevail.

You can drink for the taste And warmth, and not get drunk. Especially good if it’s an Islay.
