Sane or insane? Reality vs. fantasy? (Presidential race)

Let's just take the politics out of the Presidential race for a moment. Let's pretend that our Constitution is so air tight that candidates are basically not in conflict when it comes to policy but that instead we are electing our President for his administration skills and ability to be a world leader. This is what it would boil down to.

The incumbent President, Barack Obama, is a very normal person with a very normal family. If you look into his background there are no real skeletons in his or his family's closets. There are no scandals. They are normal, functioning Americans who love their country and who work hard to achieve their goals. They perceive the real world as it is. They think logically. The President is an intelligent and educated man. He is a Constitutional scholar. He studies the issues before him before he makes a well reasoned decision. He may be too conservative for many of us, but he weighs issues carefully before acting on them.

Now, look at the other side. There isn't a normal person among them without hidden scandals, personal baggage and skeletons in their closets. None of them are patriotic Americans. Their loyalties lie with either their churches, the American Enterprise Institute, the Heritage Foundation or Grover Norquist. Those loyalties are above their obligations to our country and Constitution. They lie about everything and probably to themselves as well to justify their ideals.

They can't see what is really going on around them or they don't want to. Their goals are to reach a place of elitism where they no longer are answerable to any justice and will be free of any future material needs. Listening to what they say, many are unintelligible in the nonsense they spew. The ones who can speak in complete sentences and try to stitch a thought together into a policy, base their arguments on false statistics and premises. They are worse than the coo coo, crazy ones, because they can sound reasonable on the surface of their argument, but it's all based on fantasy.

If there were no issues like abortion, Mexicans, Iran, blah, blah, etc., whom would you vote for? The sane, intelligent incumbant or any one of the bat shit crazies or morally corrupt ones on the right?

Lurking Freepers, evangelicals and other conservatives. Think very hard about this one.
